Hey babes!!!

Today I am traveling literally all day to get home to my baby!!!

Costa Rica was an amazing experience and i'm so blessed to have gotten the opportunity to experience it. Talk about a GORGEOUS place!!!

What I'm Wearing - Maternity Clothes

Today I am officially wearing my first maternity outfit!! Although my bump isn't massive yet, it's already nice having leggings with a little more room to breath. And this shirt, I am OBSESSED with!! I have worn it so many times already and it will stay a staple in my closet, pregnant or not! A basic like this is something I will be able to mix and match for a long time!!

Quick Maternity Style Tips

Here are some quick go-to tips when it comes to maternity style:

Choose comfort first. Let’s face it, pregnancy is no cakewalk, so don’t wear maternity clothing that is uncomfortable. Leggings and free flowing shirts, like my outfit here, are a great go-to that is still stylish, casual and doesn’t make you look too bulky. When shopping for maternity clothes, look for cotton and knits.

Wear colors! From bold colors to color block clothing, explore new color options that are best paired with your natural skin tone and be sure to flaunt it! I find that my mood improves dramatically when I put on colorful clothing.

Dress in layers. Layers are a great way to show off your cute bump and hide other things you don’t want to flaunt :) Jackets and long cardigans are a great layering piece to add to your wardrobe.

Smaller prints. When you find shirts, pants and dresses with minimal designs, it accentuates your body less. The bigger the print, the more distracting your overall outfit is.

Invest in quality black leggings and jeans. This can serve as a staple to your maternity wardrobe, and it’s also a great piece because thanks to the stretch component, it can be worn throughout your whole pregnancy.

Show off your skin! From scoop-neck to v-neck t-shirts and dresses, don’t be afraid to show off some skin while giving off a healthy pregnancy glow!

Don’t sacrifice your personal style! Just because you are growing doesn’t mean you have to abandon the pieces and accessories that make up your personal style. Look for ways to bring individuality into your maternity style — you just might have to find your type of style/clothing in the maternity section.

Today I have teamed up with some really amazing ladies to give away some awesome prizes!!! Make sure to see below to find out what it is!!!!
