Hey babes!

Thanks for stopping by today!! I thought it would be fun to share a few date night outfit tips! Whether you are single and going out on dates or going out on dates with your boyfriend/hubby, we all need some inspiration sometimes! While the food and conversations are an important part of a date, that's usually not what we're most worried about before a date night – dressing for impress tends to take center stage. Am I right?! Even being married, I still want to look good for the hubby, and for those of you who are single, the first impression is so important! I'm going to share a few tips below that will help you prepare for date night!

1. Be Confident in Your Outfit

If you are going out with someone for the first time, confidence is one ingredient you don’t want to fall short of.  Therefore, it's important that you feel comfortable in the outfit you choose in order to feel confident. Wear something cute, but something that you won't have to pull down or pull up or suck in all night. Personally I love wearing dresses. They are comfortable and flowy, and it's something that isn't too tight on my legs and provides comfort. A lace dress is a cute date night choice, adding a feminine touch to your outfit, all while still being comfortable. If you want a little bit more coverage and warmth, a cardigan is a great option. Next, let's chat accessories. Adding accessories adds another element to your outfit. You can add something with a little bling, a choker, or a long casual necklace. Check out Kohl's for some cute options – they have plenty of adorable jewelry, which you can easily get on a discount thanks to Discountrue promos.

2. Dress Appropriately for the Date

Not all dates will require a nicer outfit. If you are going bowling or miniature golfing you obviously don't want to wear heels. For a casual date like this you can wear something like this outfit, or this outfit. If you are going to a nice dinner and a movie you could dress a tad nicer like this outfit or this outfit. Sometimes you may find yourself in a five star hotel or at a really fancy restaurant. We usually go on these date nights for birthdays or anniversaries! This is definitely a fun opportunity to buy a pretty dress or skirt. I mean, who doesn't want an excuse to buy a new outfit?! For this kind of date I love this outfit and this outfit!

Now, plan a date with your significant other or ask someone on a date (yes girls are allowed to do that) and use these tips to find the perfect outfit! Hope you are having a great week!
