There is something that is so fun about dressing up for the holidays. I love the reds and greens and emeralds along with a valid reason to dress up a little. That is why I called this post holiday excuses. I feel like we use everything as an excuse. It is the holidays though. We do justify spending a little more money, eating a little more food, and hopefully a little more Christmas spirit although it seems people are more grumpy! 

This skirt caught my eye not only for the color, but it looked long enough for me, and it is! This skirt also comes in a gorgeous blue color. I had the hardest time deciding which color, but went with this emerald because I have been dying to have something in this gorgeous color!

I can't believe Christmas is next week. I haven't started wrapping presents. I feel like there is no time to do anything!! I will just say, I am beyond excited for this weekend already. I am so tired and I can feel sickness coming on (knock on wood). Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!

Mixing prints, yet again. I just can't seem to be "normal" now a days. I have fallen in love with skater skirts and pairing them with sweaters for this chilly weather! Give me leggings, skirts and boots and I am a happy camper. 

Not surprising, this adorable sweater and skirt is from Styles For Less! Darling right?! I have already mixed and matched them and worn them different ways. I sure love clothing that is versatile. As I sit and think about where to even begin to start, my heart feels like bursting. I am thankful for so many things I couldn't possibly know where to start and it might maybe may be 500 pages long. So, for the sake of you, I will keep it short and to the point. 

But first, lets be thankful for clothing for a second.. (yay for fun clothing!!)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

I hope today that we can remember what we are thankful for, while we are stuffing our faces full of delicious food. :)

I have been blessed in so many aspects of my life. I love my job, I love everyone I work with, I live in a great house, I have amazing friends and the best supportive family ever, I have the most amazing husband, I love his family, I love our country and the freedom we have, I love being Mormon and all of the knowledge and blessings that come with that, and I love that I get to blog and everything that comes along with it. There is nothing I would change about my life and I remember every day how fortunate I am.

I could go on and on and on, but those are the biggest blessings I have right now.  And I need to get on the road so I don't miss Thanksgiving dinner and family time.

I am thankful for all of my readers and followers! You are the ones who make this all worth doing! So, thank you!

I recently discovered Sheinside and I am IN LOVE. Have you visited their site before? I have made a few purchases and can't wait to show you what I got!! I will save that as a surprise. I do however want to show you more of my finds... 

Before I do that, lets talk about this dress, the Black White Plaid Half Sleeve Fashion Dress. This specific type of dress is flattering on any body type. It cuts of right below the chest and flares out, hiding any unwanted curves. This is my favorite type of dress by far. Dresses are my go-to almost always, so I think I am a pretty reliable source on what kind of dresses are the best (seriously). They are way more comfortable than pants or anything else to me. Can't get enough.
