Heyyyyy friends!!

I'm sharing some super personal stuff today. Here is why. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 4 months ago. I literally had NEVER heard about it until the doctor told me I had it. So ignorant. :/ Once I was diagnosed I got over 30 messages of friends/people on FB telling me they had it too. It is NUTS!! I went from not knowing what this was to knowing so many of my friends and family are currently struggling with this.

I have a lot of people ask me how I knew I had it, but the thing is, I didn't. It took about two months of being in the ER, cysts bursting and weight gain for them to figure out that I had PCOS. This is something that I just had developed so luckily I was able to get pregnant with Charly with no issues. The symptoms I was experiencing were all the text book symptoms. Weight gain, acne, freakishly fast hair growth/facial hair, and of course the fun cysts. I have been able to get a few of these under control and i'm going to share everything with you below. If you are struggling with this, there are things you can do to help!! It will always be a struggle for me, but I have already made my situation so much better.

I was experiencing severe pain from my cyst on a weekly basis. I had crazy little acne (but a TON of it) all over my forehead, and I was gaining weight like it was my job. After research and talking to my doctors, they said it could take up to two years to get pregnant again, BUT, if I start taking care of myself there is a chance it could happen quicker. Everyone is different. This is not a solve all for everyone but I want to share with you what has worked for me. For PCOS, the Paleo and Keto diets are highly recommended. Paleo is really hard for me so I went with Keto. I have done it before and saw amazing results so I decided to do it again. I am not being 100% crazy keto, but i'm doing no sugar, very low carbs, as much as I can. As far as my cysts go, I started using product from a company called Avisae. I will link more below, but my weekly cysts pain/bursting STOPPED completely after using these products. I don't know if its a freak accident, but after months of feeling this pain I am so blessed I found this product. Pain free!!! Woohoo!! I use quite a few products from Avisae and they have helped me in so many ways!

If you aren't familiar with Keto, google it! Do your research. Like I said I am not 100% keto, but I do take the ketones morning and night and that is where a big part of this weight loss is coming from. Ketones put your body in fat burning mode and teach your body to burn and run on fat instead of carbs/sugar etc...

After 9 days I have lost eleven pounds. ELEVEN you guys!! Taking care of your body how you need to is so important. This is one of my biggest life struggles. It will always be a challenge for me, but I am doing my best and will continue to do so!! Let me share what I have been using/doing below.

For general health/gut health/weight loss: Avisae (10% off discount code: 378903) I use this package every month HERE. Yes it's pricey but so is going to the ER and having health issues. This stuff is the real deal.
Ketones (one scoop morning & night): Julian Bakery

7 Minute Workout App (perfect for the stay-at-home-mom): 7 Minutes

Acne: Spot-On Treatment (best if used with the Acne Moisturizers as well)

For the crazy hair growth: Face Shaver (it's a real thing!!!):

Again, this is what has worked for me. This combo above has changed my life and I no longer have acne, any cyst/shooting pains, and i'm slowly but surely getting my weight back to where it needs to be so that I can get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy some time in the future!!

If you have questions about any of the product I use feel free to comment below or email me! Email is jalynn(at)theredclosetdiary.com
