the red closet diary + kiss me darling = transitioning pieces

Thursday, August 22, 2013
Can you believe it's almost September? Well, due to summer slipping away, temperatures slowly dropping, and fall right around the corner, I am teaming up with the cute gals over at Kiss Me Darling blog to bring you transitioning pieces.

What are transitioning pieces you ask? They are the pieces in our wardrobe that help us transition from season to season. Hope you enjoy!

Hi, This is Bethany and Danielle from Kiss Me Darling. We are so honored to be featured on the fabulous Red Closet Diary blog and thought we would share some of our favorite fall transition pieces.

Bethany (brunette) wore her favorite maxi dress, and layered it with a lightweight denim jacket and some strappy heels. The perfect combo for those in between weeks when its too hot for a coat, and too cold for a strapless dress.

Danielle (blonde) wore a fall colored floral skirt, red top, and added an adorable fall scarf. Please stop by www.thekissmedarlingblog.com for our outfit details, and for our feature of The Red Closet Diary :) We appreciate all of the support!

Shirt: Nordstrom, Cardigan: Papaya, Shorts: GAP, Booties: Forever 21

When I think of transitioning pieces, I think of cardigans and booties (because they are my favorite). The nights are getting cooler and I love throwing on a good cardigan along with booties to keep the toes warm.

I may not be excited for the snow, but I sure love fall clothing. Check out Kiss Me Darling Blog for more fashion inspiration! They are adorable, right?!! Go show them love!

Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
