If you have been following my blog I'm sure you know by now that I have a LOT of thrifted items in my closet. Well we are going to talk about thrift shopping for a sec. Thrift shopping is the best for a few reasons. First of all its not expensive (for the most part). Going and searching is the greatest part about it. When you find something amazing its so exciting, well to me it is. It takes time. If you are not in the mood to shop you won't want to search and you most likely won't find. The most important part in my opinion is to keep an open mind. When we look at things we might think oh my gosh that is hideous.. or something along those lines. When I bring home stuff to show to my hubs or other people I sometimes get laughed at. Little do they know that when I add some accessories and some cute complimentary clothing pieces it turns out super duper cute. The skirt above looks like grandma curtains. I matched it with a few fun items and it turned out pretty good. I read somewhere that when you are thrifting you should not look at things for what they are, but what they could be. Great way to thrift. Open your eyes and good luck!
