#GIRLBOSS

I have been thinking a lot lately about this topic. What it means to be a girl boss. I have a lot of people email and message me for advice on how to grow their businesses and what my secret is. There are no secrets, you guys. It comes down to a few things and I'm going to share those things with you!!

How to Become a Girl Boss

Tip 1: Stop Caring - I wish I would have picked up this mind set sooner. And when I say stop caring, I am referring to what others think and say about you and what you are doing. First of all, no one pays your bills except you. If your neighbor Sally doesn't like that you are selling for a direct sales company, who cares?! If your uncle doesn't like that you post selfies for work, so what?! All those people giving you grief will end up respecting you. Then there are the internet trolls. These people scour the internet and hide behind their computers and share their rude opinions about everything. Just know that the more successful you become, the more the haters will come. If you are being a good human, you have nothing to worry about!

Tip 2: Set Goals - No matter if you are starting today, or you are making millions, you have to have goals in order to create success within your career. I am a huge goal setter. I have my big monthly goals, and then I have those goals broken down into weekly goals and even daily goals. I set deadlines. If you are trying to start a business/job or really do anything in life, how are you going to progress if you don't have goals?! A goal without a plan is just a dream!!

Tip 3: Attitude - One of my favorite quotes is, "what you speak about, you bring about". If your thoughts and attitude is constantly doubting and negative, you are not going to go far. Being a girl boss is just as much attitude as it is action. If you wake up every day and tell yourself you can, and you will... you will do just that! Happiness and having a good attitude is a choice. A choice you have to make.

Tip 4: Hard Work - When I first started with SeneGence I made the choice from day one that I was going to give 100%. People always say "you are so lucky". Hell no i'm not lucky!! This didn't fall into my lap. I literally have worked 95 hour weeks since the day I started. Why? I LOVE IT!! I am passionate about it. The company is amazing, we have amazing product and a compensation plan that can't be beat. Working hard on something you love is easy. Yes, I do believe in balance, but I also believe in working my butt off to change my families future, and I have done just that.

Tip 5: Don't Compare - This is something women are the WORST at (and I've been guilty of it too)!! But something to remember is you can't compare your journey to someone else's successes. You don't know the behind the scenes. You don't know what they did to get where they are. Every person is going to have a different journey. Even if two people give 110%, they are going to progress in different ways.

Tip 6: Be Fearless - I always hear "I'm too scared to start because I don't want to fail". Be confident!! You know the quote, "If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough"? This couldn't be more true!! In girl boss language this is on point!!! Who cares if you fail at some point!! Girl bosses don't let fear or failure or struggle stop them. You learn, you fail, and you move forward!!

Tip 7: Time Management - Make a to-do list. I live off my daily list. If I don't write stuff down, it doesn't happen. I even schedule in family time, date night, and whatever else I need to schedule in. Managing your time will help you get more done. Work smarter, not harder!!

Tip 8: Be You - My last piece of advice is to simply be you. You have your own talents that will help you grow as a girl boss. You are different and unique and no one else can by you. Take your skills, talents, and even your weaknesses, and rock it!

Now say "I am a girl boss" ten times every morning!! ;)

  6. The beds usually have drawers that will provide the kids space to store toys, clothes, or anything else. This reduces the need for closets and shelves in the room for more storage, and frees up space where parents can place a TV or a toy shelf for the kids. toddler house bed
