Hey babes!!
If you caught me and Alycia on Periscope yesterday you have an idea about what we are chatting about today! I have gotten a lot of questions about how I lost my 60 pounds from pregnancy and how I am keeping it off. When they say that 80% of losing weight is diet, it is the TRUTH! Dieting is so hard. And when I say dieting i'm not talking about crazy diets like only drinking lemonade etc... but more eating healthy and knowing what you are putting in your body.
I obviously lost a good portion of that 60 pounds after the baby. Water weight, the actual baby, and my body dropped about 30 pounds pretty fast. I was still stuck with 30 pounds, lightly working out, but not eating great. This is where the healthy eating challenge comes in!
Me and Alycia decided to do Mari Barkers healthy eating challenge together! It is so great to have a support buddy to help keep each other in line! Any time I wanted sugar I would text Alycia and she would talk me down!! haha
We did the challenge for 4 weeks TWO times. The first time was right before we started BBG. You guys, I dropped weight so fast! Like 8 pounds in a week and a half. My body went into shock from all the healthy food!
I absolutely loved this challenge for a few huge reasons. It is NOT a fad or a pdf or a one size fits all program. You will learn so much including what is right for you and Marci helps you through the whole process! The new session is starting July 11th so make sure to sign up asap so you can jump on board and start losing that weight!! She also gives out prizes and does fun challenges!
Head over to Marci Barker to sign up for the healthy eating challenge starting July 11th HERE!!!
If you have any questions please contact Marci, she is amazing and will answer anything and everything!!
I talked about this on Periscope but I want to share a few of my favorite meal prep ideas!! I found that it was easiest to meal prep so that I stayed on track and wasn't tempted to cheat.
OMELET PREP:
2 Red Peppers
2 Green Peppers
1 Onion
Mushrooms
Spinach
Tomatoes
7 plastic baggies
Directions: Cut up all your veggies (leave tomatoes in separate bag, they will not be cooked) and evenly portion them out in each bag. You can add more or less of certain veggies if you have a preference. And that is it!! Once you are ready to cook, add a little butter (I use organic grass fed butter) to a pan and add the veggies! Once they are nice and cooked I add the eggs right into them. I add the tomatoes after because I don't like warm tomatoes. This is the easiest meal prepping and takes care of 7 meals, even more if you want!
Have a great weekend!
XO
