When the sun is shining, you can't help but feel invigorated. It sparks creativity and makes you want to put an energetic and renewed spirit into everything you do, including how you shop.

Next time you head out for some retail therapy, use some seasonal pastimes to inspire your wardrobe choices in different ways. With a little imagination, you can continue to live out the excitement of the summer for months to come.

Summer Colors
There is so much beautiful landscape that you only experience in the summer. Beaches, flowers, perfect sunsets over the water—inspiration for the season's colors is all around you.

It's easy to show them off with a top, but this season kick things up a notch and stand out with a pair of brightly colored jeans. Most styles look great in a boyfriend or skinny cut, and your color options are endless. There are ways to truly rock whatever color you choose, but for most hues, stick to pairing them with a nude or tan sandal. They go great with almost any color of the rainbow.

Campfire Nights
Can't you just picture yourself, sitting around the campfire, snuggling up to keep your top half warm as your sandal-clad toes stretch towards the flames to absorb some heat?

Now, use that image to guide you to jacket for the season. You want something lighter so you don't overheat; something trendy so you still look good when you're bundled up; and something that you can continue to get use out of for seasons to come. Well, if you look at the collection of designer jackets available now, you can see the different styles that are trending for the season. Bombers are certainly standing out among the competition, with names like Victoria Beckham and DKNY throwing their designs into the ring. Shop the sales, and you're sure to find a quality piece that will fit your budget.

Your options for colors and patterns are unlimited, but if you want one that reminds you of those fun summer bonfires on the beach, try a jacket with a yellow/gold or red/orange metallic details. When it catches the light, it will flicker just like flames.

Fireworks
If you're really feeling bold and festive, go full-on Katy Perry and put your own spin on fireworks this summer. Bright bursts of sequins on a black backdrop can perfectly represent the look of a firework going off in the night sky, and they'll certainly make you just as eye-catching.

It might sound a bit cheesy, but it's actually classy and pretty when you put in in action. Take Demi Lavato's recent outfit at Wango Tango, for example. She looked amazing in a black and gold sequin mini dress that featured structural shoulders and long sleeves. You don't have to wear a dress as fancy as hers, but the look does work great for a girls' night out or a date night.

Summer is the perfect time to go for a bold, creative style. With a few of these looks, you'll undoubtably be a smoke show, after all... "baby you're a firework!"

Today I went with summer colors. Pastels and lighter colors are my spin on summer colors!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!
