So many fun things going on today! I have talked about jeans a few times before. If you follow me, you know I don't like jeans. Mostly because I have a very hard time finding the right fit and size and actually liking them. Jeggings have become my favorite by far, and these Flying Monkey for East & Lo jeggings are amazing. The fit is amazing and they are so comfortable AND a great price!

I am also loving the faux leather this season. This cardigan is such a fun piece to layer and wear with jeans or even a fun skirt!! Check out Style Says for more adorable pieces!

Are you ready for winter? With the temperatures continuing to drop and snow already on the way (even South Carolina managed to get their first coating back in October!) you’ll be wanting to add a  few new pieces to your wardrobe to help you to keep warm this winter. Plus, winter means winter holidays and holidays mean winter parties. You’ll want to look your absolute best at every party you get an invite to. Fortunately, this year’s winter clothing trends are some of the best ever. Here are the top 4 items you’ll want to add  to your winter wardrobe this  year.

1. Party Dresses – Every girl should have at least one new party dress stashed away in their closet for the big annual winter party. Some of the most popular party dresses this year include long-sleeved maxi dresses that provide both comfort and warmth. Tribal print off-the shoulder party dresses are also becoming increasingly popular this winter and allow for a fun, laid back, bohemian vibe. Or, if you want to go a more traditional route, you can always opt for a little black party dress. The LBD is considered a classic for a reason: no matter where, how, or when you wear it, it will always look great!

2. Faux Suede Cuff Boots – Faux suede cuff boots have become a winter fashion staple over the past few years and for good reason! These boots are insanely comfortable, but they are also extremely warm. Ditch your sexy heels this season and opt for a pair of these boots instead. Another one of their biggest benefits is the fact that they go well with virtually anything. Whether you choose to wear them with your favorite pair of jeans, a knee-length skirt, or a longer dress, you’ll be sure to look great and be comfortable at the same time!

3. Cropped Faux Leather Jacket – Cropped faux leather jackets seem to be popping up everywhere this season. They are both fashionable and purposeful. A cropped faux leather jacket will bring a bit of edge to any look. Choosing a cropped style will allow you to be stylish and warm without taking away from the rest of your outfit. Try wearing your cropped leather jacket with a party dress and thigh high boots for the ultimate edgy tough-girl look this winter.

4. Crochet Top – By the middle of winter you’re probably going to be tired of wearing sweatshirts over your shirts or worse yet, coats. Sweaters can grow old fast as well. Crochet tops are the perfect solution! You can pair one in a neutral color such as white or black overtop of a solid shirt for a bit of extra warmth that won’t compromise the rest of your style. Plus, crochet itself is a great style for winter. You’ll look comfy and cozy, but still cute and stylish all at once!

Which winter styles are you most looking forward to adding to your closet this winter?
